Time to update those name plates to "Dr."

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) says 4,165 out of 4,447 examinees passed the October 2026 Physician Licensure Examination. That's a passing rate of 93.6%.

The 100% club (more than 100 takers)

  • University of Santo Tomas: all 312 examinees passed, topping the list

  • UP Manila: 174 passers

  • UERM Memorial Medical Center: 161 passers

  • Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health: 136 passers

  • West Visayas State University, La Paz: 100 passers

So close to perfect

  • St. Louis University: 99.19% (122 of 123)

  • FEU–Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation: 98.86% (174 of 176)

  • De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute: 98.56% (205 of 208)

  • Davao Medical School Foundation: 97.93% (142 of 145)

Perfect scores from all over the country

It wasn't just the big Manila schools. Among schools with 50 to 99 examinees, these also went 100%:

  • Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila

  • San Beda University

  • St. Luke's College of Medicine–William H. Quasha Memorial

  • Cagayan State University–Tuguegarao

  • Xavier University

  • Cebu Institute of Medicine
